Free Range
|
The definition of free range at Dancing Roosters is wide open space. We also have a prairie and a chicken park in the woods. Our total area available to the chickens is approximately three acres with an additional two acres the chickens typically avoid or haven't discovered yet. They like to stay close to their home.
There are three coops, west, east, and north. Each chicken run has two gates that are typically open. It doesn't matter since they can easily fly up to and over the fence. All chickens at Dancing Roosters have access to chicken feed at all times in addition to their chosen free range diet. |
