The west coop has a prairie protecting the watershed area. Our property is bordered by a natural occurring creek that meanders across the property. The house is agriculturally tiled to a drainage pond north of the house. My husband calls it Silver Lake in homage to Golden Pond. 

​Unfortunately the prairie allows fox, coyote, and mink to harvest their lunch on occasion.
